Electrical Fire in Kirkland Homeowner's Laundry room
An electrical fire started downstairs in the laundry room of this local Kirkland resident's home. Thankfully, no one was hurt. The wall where it started was charred and it did burn a shelving unit that was against the wall before the fire was officially put out. Although the fire was small and fairly contained causing what seemed to be minimal damage, the fire lasted just long enough to fill the entire home with smoke. Every wall, door, furniture item, and other personal contents had been exposed to smoke. SERVPRO of Kirkland handled everything from the cleaning of the structure to the cleaning of the contents and then putting everything back as it was.
